Description
Glevering Mill is a house with a former mill building attached, likely dating from the 17th century. The main part of the house is timber-framed and plastered, with a pantiled roof. It is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring a three-window front with three-light casement windows. A mid-20th century bow window has been added to the left side. The front door is accessed via an open timber porch and is fitted with a half-glazed door, a frieze, and a pediment. There are three flat-roofed dormers with leaded glass, alongside one internal and one gable-end stack. The left end of the main range has been encased in brick and originally formed part of the watermill, which was demolished around 1900. A single-storey brick range then extended over the river, housing a waterwheel that pumped water to Glevering Hall.
