Description

Gelham Hall is a house dating to the 17th century, originally built in a ā€˜L’ shape, likely from two separate dwellings that have since been joined by an outshut passage. A single-storey dairy building is attached to the right-hand wing. The house is timber-framed and plastered, with plain tiled roofs. The main wing is two storeys high with an attic, and features a lobby entrance. The wing at a right angle is also two storeys high and incorporates the outshut. The front of this wing has a three-window arrangement, with casement windows featuring mullions and single glazing bars. A projecting, enclosed, gabled porch shelters a six-panelled door with a semi-circular fanlight containing radial glazing bars. An axial brick stack is present, with a moulded cap.
