Description

No. 66 High Street is a house that now serves as part grocer's shop and part dwelling. It dates from the 16th century and has been much altered over time. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a plain tiled roof, which has a hipped end on the right side. It stands two storeys tall, featuring a jetty that is underbuilt with a modern shop front. The timber framework is exposed, and there are two bays, each with T windows; the original mullion sidelights have been blocked. The central windows have been replaced with modern three-light casements.
