Description
Capel Hall Farmhouse is a former house that has been converted into two cottages. It dates from the late 16th century to the early 17th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, with parts of the ground floor featuring colour washed red brick. It has a plain tiled roof with a brick stack located at the southwest gable. The structure is two storeys high with dormers and includes a one-storey wing on the southeast side. The windows are a mix of 20th-century casements and dormers, and there are 20th-century half-glazed entrance doors. Although the building has undergone many alterations, the interior still retains the original timber frame.
