Description

Nos 1 to 5 Church Walk in Long Melford are a range of five houses that likely date from the 15th to 16th centuries. Originally, this building served as the Rectory tithe barn before being converted into cottages. The houses are timber-framed and plastered, standing two stories tall with a six-window range featuring three-light casements that include many original leaded lights. The ground floor has five small bays, and the roof is covered with old tiles.
