Description
Ely House is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered house, likely built on an earlier core. It is two storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars; the outer windows are three-light, while the central door has a six-panel design topped with a rectangular fanlight featuring ornamental radial glazing bars. A Doric portico with plain columns, fluted half-round responds, and a modillion cornice fronts the central door. The roof is tiled with old tiles.
