Description

Mersea House is a timber-framed and plastered house with a grey gault brick front dating from the mid 19th century. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that have vertical glazing bars, set in plain reveals. At the north end of the ground storey, there is a bay window, and the central doorway is also a notable feature. The roof is covered with old tiles. This house is included for its group value.
