Description

Brett House is a red brick building dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is two storeys high and features a three-window front with double-hung sash windows, incorporating glazing bars. These windows are set in plain reveals and are topped with stuccoed, flat-arched panels. A slight projection of the centre section of the ground floor is marked by a brick dentil cornice. The roof is slate covered, with overhanging eaves supported by brackets. Chimney stacks are located at each end of the building. The property is listed for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
