Description

MONKS ELEIGH THE STREET 1. 5377 (south side) Old Forge TL 9647 54/808 II GV 2. A timber-framed and plastered building probably of C16 origin. Refronted in the C19 in brick (painted). Two storeys. Four window range on the ground storey and 2 window range on the upper storey. Casement windows. Roof tiled, with a ridge chimney stack. The interior has exposed timber-framing.
