Description

Stanesbyes is a 16th- to 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building with a cross wing at the west end. The building has undergone alterations and has been largely refronted in grey brick. It comprises a two-storeyed cross wing and a main block of one storey and attics. Modern casement windows are fitted throughout. The roof is tiled, featuring two 17th-century chimney stacks with grouped diagonal shafts.
