Description

This is a circa 1830 gault brick-fronted house, originally with stuccoed end pilasters, a cornice, and a stepped parapet. It is three storeys high and originally had a four-window range (arranged 1:3, previously 1:3:1), though a single-window bay on the north end has been demolished. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in stuccoed reveals; one window on the second storey is blocked. A central doorway to the main section is framed by a Greek Doric doorcase with fluted columns, a frieze, and a cornice. The south end of the building contains a 20th-century shop front.
