The premises occupied by Stocks (Metalworkers) Limited, located adjacent to The Old Grammar School on the south side, is an early 19th-century brick building that has been painted. It features a modern pantiled roof and stands three storeys tall. The facade includes a seven-window range of casements, which have opening upper lights and segmental heads. Notably, horsehair weaving first began at this location.
