LAVENHAM WATER STREET 5377 (south side) No 56 and 57 TL 9149 50/683 23.1.58 II GV 2. A C15-C16 timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof and a ridge chimney stack. The timber-framing is exposed on the upper storey. Two storeys. The upper storey was originally jettied and the ground storey has been built out. Casement windows with leaded lights (modern).
