Description

The Old Grammar School, located at 24 The Square in Cullen, dates from around 1823 and has later attics added. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features a five-bay frontage, which forms two separate houses. The structure is made of pinned, squared rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. There are entrances in the second and fourth bays, with flanking windows of No 22 enlarged to bipartite style. Each outer bay has a later 19th century canted dormer, and the building mainly has 12-pane glazing. It has end stacks and a slate roof.
