Description

Old Farm Cottages is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building located on the south side of The Street in Chelsworth. It stands two storeys high with attics and features a two-window range of small casements and boarded doors. The roof is tiled and has a half-hipped design at both the east and west ends, topped with a large square central chimney stack. At the east end, there is the lower storey of a former building that has been roofed in and has no windows on the front. Additionally, at the south-east end, there is a weathered and elaborately carved corner post from the former building.
