Description

Ivy House is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building located on the north side of The Street in Chelsworth. The front features panel pargetting with a painted outline. It has two storeys, with a window arrangement of two sets of two windows on the upper storey and two windows on the ground storey, all of which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A central gabled porch projects from the front, adorned with an oval panel above it. The roof is thatched and includes a central chimney stack. There is also a later single-storey lean-to addition at the north-west end.
