Amber Cottage is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house located on the south side of The Street in Lawshall. The building has one storey and attics, featuring a three-window range with small casements. At the east end, there is a small 20th-century shop addition. The roof is tiled and hipped, with two gabled dormers and a central chimney stack that has two square shafts set diagonally on a rectangular base.
