Description

Hanningfields Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th to 17th century, which was refronted in yellow brick in the late 18th or early 19th century. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. There is a 19th-century canted bay window. The entrance has a six-panel door beneath a Tuscan portico supported by plain columns and topped with a cornice. The roof is covered with 20th-century interlocking tiles. Inside, there is a central chimney stack with a hearth from the 16th to 17th century, and an external chimney stack is located at the west end.
