Description

School House, now divided into two dwellings, is likely from the 17th century with 19th-century remodelling and later alterations. The building is timber-framed and rendered, with plain tiles and brick stacks. It has a shallow H-plan and stands two storeys tall. The main range features two casement windows on each floor, while the cross wings have one casement window on each floor, all under hoodmoulds. The gables are adorned with wave pattern bargeboards, and there are three corniced ridge stacks. The entrances are now located at the rear. Inside, the framing is concealed, but there is one chamfered beam with a pyramid stop. The building is included for its group value.
