Description

The building known as Peatling Cawdron, located a few yards southeast of the White Horse Inn in North Street and with White Horse Yard behind it, is an 18th-century house and office. It is two stories tall, constructed with a timber frame and plaster, and features tiled roofs. The front block has a three-window range with sash windows that include glazing bars. On the west side, there is a two-story splay bay window supported by cast iron columns. The central entrance door is a six-panel design with a wooden case. This building is included for its group value context.
