Description
The White Horse Hotel is a two-storey and attic building dating back to 1692. It is timber-framed with plastered walls and a tiled roof. The front of the building was altered in the late 18th or 19th century, featuring a three-window range with sash windows, the centre being a three-light design. There is a wooden eaves cornice with slender, shaped brackets. The ground floor now contains modern bar rooms with wood panelling and pilasters. A sculpted horse sits above the ground floor splay bay. The building forms a group with Nos 98 and 99, White Horse Hotel, and East House on East Street.
