Description

Nos. 1 to 3, The Alley, comprise three buildings of differing dates and construction. No. 1 is timber-framed and plastered, and it is likely that it originally formed part of the east cross wing of Whales Haven. Nos. 2 and 3 are 19th century red brick buildings, featuring a raised brick band between the ground and first floors. The buildings are two storeys high, with casement windows, some of which replaced earlier double-hung sash windows, and boarded doors. The roofs are tiled. The properties are included on the list for their group value.
