Description

White House is a small timber-framed and plastered building, likely dating from the 17th century. It has a thatched roof and stands two storeys tall. The building features a two-window range consisting of casements and horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey window at the west end was probably originally an 18th or early 19th century shop window, also with glazing bars. There is a ridge chimney stack with attached shafts and boarded doors. To the east, there is a single storey addition that also has a thatched roof.
