Description

Nos 15 to 20 on Water Street are a range of six late 19th century red brick houses built in 1891 by W W Roper, who owned the nearby factory at No 22 where horse hair bustles were produced. The houses are arranged in three blocks and feature modern tiled roofs. They are two storeys high, with each block having two windows that consist of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, topped by stuccoed flat arches. These houses are included for their group value.
