2/100 No 1, Royal Hospital School and attached walls to right and left

House. Circa 1925-33. Buckland and Heywood. Red brick with hanging red tiles to first floor, central band. Hipped dark red plain tiled roof. External chimney- stacks to returns with stone offset brackets above eaves. 2 storeys. 3-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes with horns, moulded surrounds, angled bays to ground floor. Central 6 recessed panelled door, moulded surround, flat canopy on brackets. Attached to front angles the red brick walls with moulded brick plinth and stone coping continue through the staff accommodation houses of the School. To the east it curves towards the road supported by rectangular and square panelled brick columns terminating at the entrance to the School grounds. There are round-headed gateways with full-height panelled gates in the walls.
