Description

32 King Street is a house and shop built around 1840. It features yellow brick in Flemish bond and has a slate roof that is gabled on the left and hipped on the right, with a brick stack at the rear. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical two-window arrangement. The early 19th-century shop front includes a half-glazed door with an overlight in the center, a four-panelled door with an overlight to the left, and two-light plate-glass windows framed by pilasters and outer brackets beneath a moulded wood cornice. The first-floor sashes have incised flat lintels with 12 panes. The interior has not been inspected. This listing is included for its group value only.
