Description
Pond Hall is a cottage that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, featuring a timber frame with 18th-century red brick facing. The building has a 20th-century matching bay on the left side and a red plain tiled gambrel roof with end chimney stacks on the original range. It is one storey high with attics and has a dentilled eaves cornice. The cottage includes four raking dormers that have 19th-century style two-light casement windows. On the ground floor, there are three three-light casements with transoms and segmental heads, along with a 20th-century part-glazed porch. Inside, bridging joists and flat section ceiling beams are visible.
