Flat section ceiling beams, chamfered bridging joists. Mullion slots visible in jetty bressumer. Herringbone brick floors. A copy of a will in the present owners possession suggests thai the cottage was owned by Samuel Hudson, 6th June 1629. Possibly the crosswing to a former larger house.
