Description

A pair of houses dating circa 1837. They are constructed of gault brick with stucco dressings and have a slate hipped roof with two central stacks. The houses are two storeys high, with a four-window range at the first floor, featuring 6/6 sash windows with unhorned sashes and painted stucco cornices supported on brackets. Below, there are two similar windows, each with a five-panel door set within a round-arched head, which incorporates an overlight. The pair of houses were built following the Sudbury Town Improvement Act of 1835 and contribute to a notable group of listed buildings along Ballingdon Street.
