Description

Penn Cottage and The Old Castle House are a building dating probably from the 16th and 17th centuries, originally timber-framed and plastered. In the 19th century, the front was completely rebuilt in a castellated style. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window front with double-hung sashes and glazing bars. Upper-storey windows have hood moulds, and the ground-storey windows are slightly bowed. A castellated porch projects from the central block. The roof is tiled and hidden behind a castellated parapet.
