Description
This cartlodge, dating from the 18th to 19th century, is located adjacent to the road and approximately 30 meters northwest of Wenham Lodge in Little Wenham. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, and the roof timbers are exposed, although it was formerly thatched. The structure has two storeys and consists of five bays, with open gable ends. There is a hoist and a loft door on the southern gable. The walls feature through bracing and hanging knees to the tie beams, and the roof is a side purlin design, pegged at the ridge.
