Description

Cedar Cottage is a building located on Mill Street in Nayland with Wissington. It is likely originally from the 17th to 18th century but was completely altered and refronted in the 19th century using gault brick. The cottage is one storey high on the west side and features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that do not have glazing bars, set in stuccoed reveals. The doorway also has stuccoed reveals, along with pilasters and a cornice. At the rear, on the east side, there are three gables, and the roof is tiled. This building is included for its group value context.
