Description

The wall and railings enclosing the front garden of Knight's Farmhouse date from the 19th century. They are made of red brick and cast iron. The cast-iron railings feature hooped designs with central rails, alternating with rails that have elaborate moulded finials. The structure includes octagonal gate posts topped with moulded finials and scrollwork on the top of the six-bar gate. The wall and railings are prominently positioned by the roadside and are included for their group value with the farmhouse.
