Description
The Queen's Head Public House is a public house that dates back to the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It features a timber frame that is rough rendered and has a red plain tiled roof. A central red brick chimney stack is present. The building is two storeys tall with attics and includes a single-storey extension on the left that serves as a bakehouse, which has a chimney stack on the left side, as well as a forward left lean-to extension with a grey slate roof. The layout follows a lobby entrance plan with three bays. There are various casements on both the first and ground floors, including a large 20th-century casement in the left lean-to extension and a single casement in the left bakehouse. The central entrance features a vertically-boarded door with a moulded surround and a flat canopy supported by brackets, while a similar door and surround are found at the left bakehouse.
