Description

Number 5 Pound Lane is a two-storey building that dates from the 18th century. The walls are refaced in 18th-century brick, except for the north and south gables. The building features a timber frame and is plastered, with tiled roofs. The front has a wooden eaves cornice with modillions. There are four windows, which are flush frame sashes with glazing bars, and they have ganged flat arches at the ground floor. The entrance is highlighted by a pedimented wooden doorcase, which has a rusticated architrave and key.
