Description

Number 2 High Street is a two-storey house with attics, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, and tiled roofs. Most of the building has been refaced in 18th century red brick. The front features three attic dormers with flat heads, a wooden modillion eaves cornice, and a five-window range with flush frame sash windows that include glazing bars. There is a first-floor band and a central Doric doorcase with an open pediment, leading to an arched doorway that is decorated with a fanlight and panelled reveals. The property also includes cellars.
