Description

Turnpike Farmhouse West is a 17th century timber-framed long house that is faced in red brick, with a plastered rear. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high. The facade has four widely spaced windows, which include sashes and horizontal pivot windows, all fitted with glazing bars. There is a modern glazed door located in front of the chimney stack, which is off centre. At the rear, there are later lean-tos.
