Description
Hall Farmhouse is a 17th century or earlier long timber-frame house that is faced in brick. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and a stringcourse at floor level. The building has two storeys and six bays. The ground floor has modern mullion and transom casements set in segmental headed openings. There is a wide doorway that is off centre, adorned with reeded pilasters and a frieze, leading to a panelled and glazed door. A modern open porch is also present. At each end of the house, there are external brick chimney stacks. Additionally, there is a two-storey wing from the 18th or 19th century on the north-east side, which is built of red brick and features a modillion eaves cornice, three-light casements, and a pantile roof.
