Description

Laurels Farmhouse is a 17th-century house situated on Rode Lane, Carleton Rode. The house is timber-framed with plaster rendering and has a thatched roof with gabled ends. It is two storeys high with an attic, and features three widely spaced windows. Early 19th-century three-light casement windows are present. A modern wooden porch sits in front of a brick chimney stack, which is positioned off-centre. A later one-storey wing extends to the rear (north) and west sides of the building.
