Description

Whitehouse Farmhouse is a 17th-century cottage with a plastered timber-frame construction. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends, and the north gable is weatherboarded. The building has one storey and an attic, with a ground floor that includes one modern casement window with glazing bars and a glazed door located off centre, accompanied by a modern porch. There are two wedge-shaped dormers from the 19th century. A brick chimney stack is positioned in the south end wall. Inside, the farmhouse has an ovolo moulded chamfered ceiling beam and exposed joists. Adjoining the south end are farm buildings.
