Description

Fen Farmhouse is an early 17th century timber-frame house that has been plastered. It features gable-ended thatched roofs. The west part of the house is two storeys high with an attic, which includes attic windows in the gable ends, and has two windows along its facade. A central brick chimney stack is present. Inside, there is an ovolo moulded chamfer on the ceiling beam. The east part of the farmhouse is one storey with an attic and has a lower roof with two gabled dormers, along with a central brick chimney stack. The interior features a roll-moulded ceiling beam. All the windows are modern casements with leaded panes.
