Description

Primrose Farm is an early 17th-century timber-frame house. The ground floor is faced with plaster, with a brick plinth. The steep gable ends are covered with thatch and corrugated iron, and there is a brick chimney stack set off-centre. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a window in the gable end. Windows are 19th and 20th-century casements with glazing bars, and a small ovolo-moulded mullion window sits below the eaves. The doorway is off-centre, in front of the chimney stack. Inside, the ceiling beams have ovolo mouldings with carved stops. A fireplace features a chamfered bressumer.
