Description

Old Hall Farmhouse is a late 16th century to early 17th century house that was refashioned in the 19th century. It features a timber frame with 19th century red brick front and end walls, while the rear is plastered. The house has a slate roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high. There are four widely spaced 19th century casement windows set in segmental-headed openings. The doorway is off centre to the left and is adorned with pilasters and an entablature. There are brick chimney stacks at each end of the house and one off centre. Inside, the farmhouse retains an exposed timber frame with close studding and roll moulded ceiling beams.
