Description

This 17th-century house, occupied by R B Housago, is located immediately west of Day's Garage on Bunwell Street in Carleton Rode. The building features a plastered timber-frame construction set on a brick plinth, topped with a thatched roof that has half-hipped ends. A brick chimney stack is positioned near the east end of the house. It has two storeys and an attic, with attic windows located in the ends. The windows have been replaced with modern casements. Additionally, there is a later one-storey wing on the east end of the house.
