Description
Tibenham Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-frame house that has been plastered. It features a steep gable-ended roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The building has an off-centre brick chimney stack with well-crafted moulded and octagonal flues, as well as another brick chimney stack at the east end with lozenge-shaped shafts. The farmhouse has two storeys and an attic, with four widely spaced windows that include 18th and 19th century casements. There is a 19th century embattled porch located off centre. At the east end, there is a small timber-frame lean-to, while the west end has a clay lump lean-to. Inside, the farmhouse has chamfered ceiling beams.
