Description

High House Farmhouse is a late 16th century timber-framed house that has been plastered. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack. The chimney has moulded bases with octagonal shafts and has been rebuilt above with square shafts, all resting on a square base that is dated "1586". The house is two storeys high with an attic, which includes windows in the gable ends. There are 20th century casements and a 19th century gabled porch located in front of the chimney stack, which has a doorway flanked by fluted pilasters. The north elevation displays early 19th century casements.
