Description
Heywood Hall is an early 17th-century building that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of brick with roughcast and features pantiles. The structure has a stepped gable on the south side and consists of two storeys with an attic. On the first floor, there are four easements, and a blocked attic window is located in the south gable. The south chimney is notable for its twin diamond shafts. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a lozenged fanlight above it. Additionally, there are two casement dormers. The hall was originally surrounded by moats to the northeast.
