Description

Church Hill Farmhouse is an early to mid-19th century red brick house with buff brick dressings. The property has a low-pitched, hipped slated roof with overhanging eaves. Brick pilasters define the corners of the front elevation. The house is two storeys high with three bays. It features sash windows with glazing bars, flat moulded lintels, cills, and buff brick dressings. The central doorway is elliptically arched and recessed, with fluted pilasters, an elliptical arched fanlight with glazing bars, and a fielded panel door. Brick chimney stacks are also present. The building is listed for its architectural contribution to the village scene.
