Description

Church Place is a former row of three cottages, constructed in a timber-frame style and rendered. The cottages have a later pantile roof with gabled ends and stand two storeys tall. There are six windows, primarily 19th-century casements with glazing bars. The cottages feature three plank doors with simple modern porches. The central cottage is the original 17th-century structure, notable for its heavy chamfered ceiling beam and joists. The end cottages were likely added in the early 19th century, and there is a brick chimney stack located near the center of the row.
