Description

Yew Tree Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed house that has been plastered. It features a steep gable-ended roof covered with pantiles. The farmhouse has a prominent brick chimney stack that is off centre and includes octagonal moulded brick flues, along with another chimney stack at the east end that has a single flue. The building is two storeys high and has four widely spaced windows. The first-floor windows are 18th or 19th century casements, while the ground floor has modern larger casements with glazing bars. There is a fielded panel door located near the right-hand end of the house. At the rear, there is a later lean-to addition.
